Instructions
Wash rice and measure water as per package instructions.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
Next, add the pork, onion, garlic, egg, and breadcrumbs to a large bowl. Use a spoon or your hands to mix everything together. Do not overmix.
Form the pork mixture into meatballs.
Heat an oven-safe skillet on the stove. Sauté the meatballs for 3-5 minutes or until they’re golden brown on all sides.
Place the skillet into oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Whisk all the sauce ingredients together in a bowl.
Take meatballs out of the oven. Place skillet on medium-low heat on the stove then add the sauce and stir. Allow the sauce to thicken and coat the meatballs.
Serve on rice.
